DV7 6185-us
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer is a laptop and here are the specs.

HP DV7 6185-us

Graphics: Radeon 6490M

Memory: 6GB

CPU: i7 quad core 2nd gen 2630QM

Hard Drive: Seagae FireCuda SSHD 2TB Sata 6GB ST2000LX001

I would like to upgrade to something better whether it be a Radeon or Invidia.

I don't have a clue what's available but would like some advice.

When I bought the computer was sold to me as primarily an entertianment PC.

But after doing some research found that it would play most games at the time.

I liked it cuz it had a nice 17 inch screen.

Now as some games have progressed it does't handle everything.

Can you even upgrade a laptop graphics or do I just beed to buy a whole new laptop?

Unfortunately upgrading video card on nearly all consumer laptops (including yours) is impossible. Sorry to say that.

Regards.

I see.

What about if I got a new motherboard?

Is that an option? One with a better graphics.
