I have had this Laptop for seven months now. A few crashes here and there from security_kernal, a couple from other reasons. And I was content because it didn't disturb me all that much. But when my gaming laptop is inable to function when I play a game and causes severe performance issues that shouldn't happen, then I am frustrated and angry at something that should not happen. I am in possession of a (product number here) N5R46UA#ABA and I am tired of what is happening. For instance of my problem, I have played a plethera of common games that challenges the hardware of this notebook and have been fine for the majority of my time.
I have been getting into the new game Overwatch recently, and have come to really enjoy the gameplay that it offers. I have not had an issue playing Overwatch until recently however. I took note that when I play that sometimes it will have a massive lag spike that is caused by my cpu on the program slowing down. I feel as though this has something to do with the graphics card, but my guess may as well be as good as yours. I doubt this issue has anything to do with the game . I believe it has more so to do with the hardware.

turns out I was using my mother's charger for her small Hewlett packard computer. Problem solved. Thanks for not answering a thing (sarcasm).

happens with every game. I have taken apart my laptop and used a canned air to get the dust out of the fan if there was any. I have noticed that it happens when I begin to charge my laptop. So is it the cpu? Is it the charger? Is it the battery? Help me out here.
