Here is the Service Manual:
Max memory is 32 gigs (2 x 16) of DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM.
See pp. 32-35 for instructions.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Yeah I saw that. There is a conflict between the Service Manual and the specs. If you are upgrading anyway you might want to buy DDR4-3200 or -2933 product as it appears the system may be capable of running at DDR4-2933 speed. If not I suspect it may max out at 2666 as shown in the Service Manual. The Service Manual is more likely correct than the specifications.

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying this laptop. Therefore I do not have a serial number or similar available.
The name of the laptop is the following: Pavilion 15 dk1378ng with an Intel i7-10750H Processor, 16GB RAM and a GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q with 6GB of RAM.
Greetings

Very impressive specs. Whether it uses -2666 or -2933 makes a very small difference. I have seen some benchmark video on youtube that prove as much. The RTX 2060 will play all but the very most demanding games.

I also think the specifications are very good. However, I don't know if 32GB RAM is enough in the long run. I would find a gaming laptop with max. 64GB RAM much better.🤔
If you have any Suggestions, then they share them with me 🙂
Greetings
Adrian

You will not need more than 32 gigs of RAM. You really do not need more than 16 gigs for gaming....additional memory would be helpful for video editing, and other content creation as on a mobile workstation type machine. I know I have seen at least one (1) HP Omen notebook currently offered with up to 64 gigs of memory however. I will try to track that down.
