This tends to support the idea that the model you ask about would work with 64 gigs. Third party resellers installing 64 gigs and offering them that way even though HP only offers up to 32.

Seriously, however, in most cases upgrading to 64 gigs is going to be a big expense that will not impact gaming in any positive way. But definitely will give some bragging rights.
