I have an HP SpectreXT notebook and HP 3005pr USB 3.0 Port Replicator since 2013. I have never had any problems with them until a couple of weeks ago that the Port Replicator stopped working after a Fatal Error on the notebook. After a review of the Device Manager I discovered that the Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub was not working. None of the attached devices, except for the USB 2.0 hard Drives work.
Attached images of the problem that can give you a better idea of the problem. I have Device Manager logs I could send to further illustrate the problem.
Any help in recovering my Port Replicator will be greatly appreciated. I am using all the USB Ports, Audio port, Ethernet port. HDMI and monitor ports, and none of them work.

Hi Mrstenter:
Thanks for your prompt reply to my issue, sorry I did not get back to you before, but I just saw your reply.
I downloaded and installed the latest software from the link you sent and it was instaling fine, it even identified the oldversion, but when cofirming the unistallation of the previous version it crashed. I have powered-off and rebooted and tried reinstalling after each time but cannot install the new software. Attached please find screenshots of the message I get and of the HP Dock Properties - Events that may better illustrate the issue.
Is there an uninstall tool or a way of circumventing this problem? The Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub is still failing.
Thanks,
,
