I am getting code 43 error in device manager on my gpu of radeon rx 6600M.
I will attach screenshots below.
I tested my gpu hardware using Hp Hardware diagnostic software and got all positive results.
Sometimes my gpu just temporarily starts working when I uninstall the device and restart my pc.
But this solution only works rarely .
I deleted all drivers and reinstalled them,
I also tried changing the power plan to default high performance,
Also tried to update bios settings to default,
I have no clue what is wrong , please help.

Hi @Moiz2194,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering a Code 43 error with your AMD GPU on your OMEN gaming laptop running Windows 11. This error typically indicates a hardware problem or a driver issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
- Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your AMD GPU. You can download the latest drivers from the AMD website.
- Reinstall Drivers: Sometimes, reinstalling the GPU drivers can fix the issue. Uninstall the current drivers completely and then reinstall them.
- Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your operating system is up-to-date with the latest patches and updates. Sometimes, Windows updates can include fixes for hardware compatibility issues.
- Check for BIOS Updates: Visit the HP support website for your specific OMEN laptop model and check if there are any BIOS updates available. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve hardware-related issues.
- Check Hardware Connections: Ensure that the GPU is properly seated in its slot and that all connections are secure. If your laptop has switchable graphics (integrated and discrete), make sure it's set to use the discrete GPU.
- Run Hardware Diagnostics: Some laptops come with built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify hardware issues. Check if your OMEN laptop has any diagnostic utilities and run them to see if they detect any problems with the GPU.
- Check for Overheating: Overheating can cause hardware malfunctions. Make sure your laptop is adequately cooled and that the GPU isn't overheating during use.

I hope this helps.

- Used DDU in safe mode and deleted and reinstalled drivers from amd official Page
- Window is updated
- Bios is updated, checked in the Hp Pc Diagnostic app
- How do I check if my hardware is properly seated, and also how do I know that my laptop is using my discrete gpu.
