Getting HP Envy x360 cn1xxx to recognize additional HDD

So I recently bought a 2TB Seagate Barracuda for my laptop, HP Envy x360 cn1xxx model. I bought the additional cady for it and connected it via the ribbon cable. However, it will not recognize the drive.

I'm not sure how to get the laptop to recogize it. I don't like saving files to SSD drives and wanted an internal HDD to save things to, I thought the hyrbid would be the best as I've got them in my PS4's and they work fantastic. Any advice on what I should do?

Unfortunately those are not the right mounting parts. You need these:

(5b) Hard drive rubber sleeve L21894-001
(5c) Hard drive cable L20103-001

Unfortunately these parts are very hard to find. From what source did you concude that the ones you bought would work?

I was looking through Amazon and found it and asked the question if it would work and someone said that it worked for one of their Envy models and didn't see why it wouldn't work for mine.

You say that they are hard to find, but have you been able to find them? I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find anything.
