I turned on my notebook a couple of days ago only to have it power on and deliver to me diagnostic screen entitled HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI. Not sure why this screen has chin to surface but I can't even advance past this or any other operation because I've come to learn that my keyboard is now also unresponsive. Can anyone jump in and help me out with some type of solution to this unfortunate issue?  I've already attempted the esc key and f10 approach with no solution because of the keyboard not responding. HELP!!!

Hi,

First, let us try a power reset. Remove the battery and ac adapater and press the power button for about 40 seconds. Attach the ac adapter again and try booting the PC, see if the Keyboard works and lets you enter BIOS.

Power Reset your Laptop

Now you can also attach an external USB keyboard and try performing the diagnostics it shows wnen you boot the PC.

Let me know,

David
