I recently upgraded my wifes gaming comp from the HP Omen 30L and took the CPU to the new comp. I put in my old CPU - a Ryzen 5 3600XT. I also swapped out the SSD since the original was pretty slow and I wanted to gift this computer to a friend and not have any of my files go with it. I set it all up with a monitor, but when I plug it in and start it up, the monitor doesn't get any input. The lights and fans all start, but that's it. I have a boot drive USB to get windows 11 installed on the new SSD but I can't do anything without the screen working. 

 

Is the HP Omen not compatible with the Ryzen 5 3600XT? or is it that I replace the SSD?

The processors that are compatible with the motherboard are listed in the specifications document at the hyperlink below.

The processor that you installed is not  in the list of compatible processors. See the motherboard document below.

That is probably what the  core issue is.

 

You might try reseating the memory modules as well.
