Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am having a Gaming Pavilion 15-dk0xxx and I wonder if the Samsung 970 Evo plus 1-TB M.2 NVMe is a good upgrade for my laptop?

Thank you!

Hi,

I think it is

HP Pavilion Gaming - 15t-dk0000 CTO

Thank you!

It is a CTO machine therefore no available specs but it shares the following manual

         http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664.pdf

On pages 1 and 2. You can see it supports dual storage options with M.2 NVMe SSD and 2.5" HDD/SSD therefore Samsung 970 EVO series of M.2 NVMe SSD's are the good choice.

Thank you, but for the Samsung 970 EVO series of M.2 NVMe SSD, does my laptop support up to 1 TB ?

HP Recommended

The manual states "1-TB, 2280, PCIe-3×4, NVMe, solid-state drive with three-layer cell (TLC) DS", which doesn't have m.2 so I am confused. Would the Samsung 970 EVO (plus) 1-TB of M.2 NVMe SSD work?
