I mean do you use any applications or software that need hardware acceleration may be for your work or something else that you do? Or you need hardware acceleration just on Google Chrome.

no apps that I use without hardware acceleration are visual studio code, logitech software, avg antivirus etc. but none of these use hardware acceleration, then through intel support assistant I downloaded the latest graphics card driver even before updating the driver it made me am done

So that means hardware acceleration is not all that big of a deal for your laptop usage asides Google Chrome. I understand. Maybe you don't need it that much then since other major apps work well without hardware acceleration. Maybe you should leave it off so it does not tamper with your system.

I don't think it is anything to worry about at this point. Applications like Adobe Photoshop and After Effects use hardware acceleration majorly due to the RAM that this software is hungry for. So it should not be a problem for you at this point.
