Hello guys,
I have my laptop with the above specs, in title, and i like to use it to game but thr frame rate is still a barrier to my enjoy the games (flight sim, etc.) I read about the possibility of upgrading the graphic card. I read that there ould be a possibility if the NVIDIA is the type of crd used. Mine uses the NVIDIA GeForce 840M.0, so from your experience, can i eventually upgrade to som GeForce GTX 1050, GTX 1060, GTX 2080 Series or something better, without damaging my laptop?
which could be the GPU you could recommend me, pls?
And if eventually a staff from the appropriate section of HP wuld read me, i want to ask if for my PC, you still put out some driver updates, because i never see specific ones for my type of laptop/tablet ever since i search out. I drop my specs below again, FYI:
HP ENVY m7 Notebook PC
windows 10- 64 bit operating system, x64-based processor
J9K05UA#ABA
installed RAM: 12.0 GB
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @2.40GHz
Thanks in advance to all contributors.

Hi, Roland:
Unfortunately, it is not possible.
There are no removable graphics cards in your notebook and the graphics processing unit is soldered and integrated onto the motherboard.
The only way to upgrade the graphics would be to replace the entire motherboard with one listed in the service manual for your model, that may come with better graphics.
That would be both expensive and labor intensive.
Better to sell or trade in your notebook and get one with better graphics.
