Hello,
Since I had to reformat my Pavilion DV7 Laptop on Windows 10 x64 (Family version), I assist to a grahpic services degradation as :
- Impossible to adjust the screen brightness
- Impossible to detect another external screen (by HDMI wire)
- Impossible to get more than 2 (low) resolutions screen (1024x768 or 800x600)
- Impossible to access on the graphic card's optimized software (Intel Graphics Control panel) to adjust any screen resolution/color setup, etc...
To let you know too : I bought this Laptop 13 years ago, it was running first on Windows 7, and I upgrated it to Windows 10 without any inconvenience until some days, where my Hard Disk Drive litterally crashed.
That's why now I'm experiencing some difficulties to find the right drivers/original soft of this graphic card...
To me, during the last days installation, the original drivers/software haven't been( installed or) well installed (by a computer technician).
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
Graphic Cards : AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
If some of you know would be able to help me by giving the proper Drivers/Soft, it would be great!
Thank you very much in advance,
Guillaume

Unfortunately, the drivers for your laptop are no longer on HP's servers.
There are some websites that have drivers for your laptop, but it is doubtful that any of us can vouch for them.
I did a search using Google.

Good luck!
It may be time to consider sourcing something a bit more recent to replace your venerable Pavilion dv7-6000 series laptop.

Hi Erico,
Ok thanks for your feedback, I will try with these researches.
Just to give you my feedback : After 13 years of carefull use, my laptop is still working well in terms of performances, and that's with big regrets I see that HP are not turned to long term services, and pushing users to buy another laptop within some years.
Bests
