Omen 15-ax009na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP OMEN 15 ax009na laptop has recently developed an issue with the graphics card and windows says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" and ever since the graphics issue started the fans are always on full power even when the laptop is cold and just sat on the desktop not doing anything'

I have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue

  • Windows Update
  • Windows, HP & Nvidia troubleshooting tools
  • Driver Update
  • Old Driver
  • Other OS
  • Reinstalling Windows
  • BIOS Update
  • BIOS Reset
  • Checked the motherboard for any visible damage or shorts

but no luck so far.

when I tried using the driver from Nvidia's website It could not detect the GPU.
