I bought this laptop in February of2020 because it is stated to have the GTX 1050 in the product info where I bought it. Fast forward and the box arrived. HP box itself states (I still have the box) GTX 1050. The laptop itself had a sticker (recently deceased due to children lol) the said Nvidia on the laptop. Today I had an issue with a game and sent an e-mail that contained a txt doc of my system to them, which I sent without looking at it. They sent me a message back stating the reason for my game trouble was that my system has an intel integrated graphics card which doesn't have a video card. My thought was of course, bullcrap. I checked the txt doc I sent them and to my shock, my system says I have a Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630! Has anybody had this issue? I hope one of HP's support is on this forum who can help me since it is impossible to contact HP support in any way shape or form. For the amount of money I spent on this laptop to ensure I had something that would fit all of my family's needs as well as be able to game on it, this is unacceptable. Funny thing is, HP's own website lists the intel card for the model I bought, but the box itself lists the gtx card and the laptop even had the Nvidia sticker.

Its specs

No, it does not have dedicated video card. It ONLY has
- Intel® UHD Graphics 630
- Integrated
and you can NOT add GTX 1050 to your machine.
Regards.

This laptop comes with that card. I have the factory box from HP that states that AND here is a screenshot showing my confusion:
Here are the pictures of the box that shows all the info as well as a sisde by side screenshot of the installed Nvidia app and the supposed system info.

I ask different source and HP confirms there are TWO same models but for different markets. You bought machine on different market therefore your machine has better specs the normal machine.
Anyway, you already work out. If not please use the following steps which I receive from our IC:
Ask the user if he/she has updated the bios, drivers and Windows.
You can also tell the user to go into the bios and check to see if they are looking at anything related to Nvidia.
You can suggest the following to the user:
Before updating the BIOS, check the installed version.
Simultaneously press the Windows + R key, a window will open and type msinfo32 and click OK, look for the line that indicates BIOS date and check if the version is the most current compared to the one on the https://support.hp.com/mx-es/drivers page, if you have already checked the version and you do not have the latest version, then download it to update it.
Regards.
