Product: HP Notebook-15-bw022dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer keeps going to blue error screen and restarting. After a hardware test I received a failure ID code and am unsure where I'm supposed to enter this.  It said Hard Drive short DST check failure with a code of GK2C1A-91DA5J-XD7UQK-60XC03.  I'm not sure what it means or what I can do to try to fix this.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

 

For Windows 7 and Windows 10. Please use Cloud Recovery tool:
