Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Could someone tell me if this sound is normal? Coming hard drive. Its not loud but it happens alot, it’s a new hp omen17.

@Acamkt93 , welcome to the forum.

 

I have to admit that I have never heard a hard drive make that sound.  What is happening when you hear this sound?  It sounds more like some type of alarm.

Nothing really happens when i hear it...i checked hard drive both hd and ssd shows perfect condition but I don’t know why im hearing this? What alarm are you talking about?

This is the problem.  I have never heard that sound coming from any of my HP desktops or laptops.  It doesn't sound like it should be coming from the hard drive, however.  I listened to the sound several more times.  As I stated, it sounds like an alarm is set in the background.

Nono its not alarm, the sound clearly coming from inside (harddrive area). Can you please mention anyone from technical team to check?
