my old hard drive failed so I bought an SSD. When I try to turn it on it’s saying no bootable media found. I’m trying to install a new copy of Windows 10 from my usb drive. I created the windows image a couple times to make sure it didn’t have an error but I get the same message. I was looking online and it’s saying that it looks like it might be from the SSD being loose. I think it had another part that goes on top of the ssd but I might have lost it! Anyone know where I can get one ?

Please use other computer to initialize the SSD and try again. I did have few problems before and after that I always initialize new HDD/SSD to save time.

 

You may need some thing like this to be connect to another machine.
