You will need to be a bit more specific on the model you have as there are many series of the M6

Hi,

You can replace the Hard Drive with an SSD.

You could see if the slot for an M2 SSD is present on motherboard (sometimes missing on models that did not come with M2 drive)

On page 27 of service manual you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover to take a look

So, if the M2 slot is present you can install an M2 SATA3 SSD of your desired capacity. Something like the Samsung M2 869 Evo

If the slot is not present you can replace the Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 2.5" 860 Evo or similar.

It will give a great boost to the everyday performance of the notebook.

 

You will need to install the OS on the SSD.
