Hello,
I have had a long night attempting to fix and find a replacement FFC connector clip for my HP Pavilion Power 15. The cable is fine, but the FFC clip or drawer that holds the ribbon cable down on the motherboard fell off and doesn't attach back onto the connector.
I have found nothing in the HP Parts store, but I found out the connector has 10 pins, and is quite small.
Please help me find this little plastic clip piece whether its a replacement part or just anything that would fit and work.
Thank you!
This is the FFC connector without the plastic clip installed.

You are not going to find a part like that listed. If the connector on the board is good you may be able to find a new connector at a place like Digi-Key but whether you can remove a new retainer and attach to the board is a question I cannot answer. If you have the connector you could try seating the connector and then using Kapton tape to secure it. Kapton tape is that transparent yellow tape you often see holding cables in place inside laptops. It is non-conductive.
