Hoping to increase the abilities of my venerable HP-Mini work companion,  I would like to know what GB size my Mini can accommodate as well as how much more RAM it can accept?  A detailed list of the type of RAM would also be appreciated.  Many thanks as it's really difficult to contact the HP Engineers who created the Mini in the first place.  The Community seems to be the best resource for technical info.

Hi:

Your notebook has one memory slot, and the max memory the slot can support is a 2 GB DDR2-6400 memory chip.

Something like this...

Hynix HYMP125S64CP8-S6 2GB DDR2 SODIMM 200pin PC2-6400 800MHz at Amazon.com

You should be able to go with a 500 GB 2.5" SATA hard drive.

Attn: Paul !! Many thanks for your prompt, brief and detailed reply.  Please note that I tried to connect to the HP Community site yesterday, but after 45 minutes of confusion, I gave up!  Today, he Sign up / Sign In button sent me off to here and there but not to the Community site.

Getting connected is truly an exasperating experience and hopefully it could be reviewed and improved....  I hope!
