I am struggling to find the correct part number for the HDD replacement as the part store does not call it "HDD". My laptop is from 2019 with these features:

AMD Ryzen 7

(RAEDON Vega Graphics AMD, specifically: AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx), 12 GB RAM, and 2TB HDD.

This maybe out-of-date, but I need a new part as the diagnostic states that it "Failed" during the test. My computer is slower and my Bluetooth is only connecting to my headphones, but not my pc gaming controller, gaming keyboard, or my gaming mouse, all have worked until I ran the diagnostic test Monday; I think doing the test may have sped-up the "failing" process a bit. I only need to know what part, and how much. How do I find the part number in the HP parts store?

I should also note that everything else works just fine, so I am not looking to purchase a new system, just the HDD, as it is the only part causing problems. All other tests have passed. I am also still able to run my Steam games: Cyberpunk 2077, Grand Theft Auto, RPG game, etc; I have completely backup all my files and such on an external hard drive. Just covering all the bases. Thank you for your time.

A few questions for you:

What is the model number or product number of your notebook?

Do you need a 2 TB hard drive or can you get by on less such as 1 TB?

If you have a notebook with an  AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor, it probably has a M.2 slot that supports much faster performing NVMe SSDs or you could replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a decent performing SATA SSD but NVMe would provide the best drive speed.

Would you like info on either of the solid state drive options 2.5" SATA or M.2 NVMe?
