Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, my hard drive passed to a better life and I need to replace it. According to the specs, it has to be a SATA HDD 5400rpm without further details.

May I replace it with a faster disck (eg) or what SATA version should I take (I, II, III, ..., 6), what about the cache (64 or 128 eg.), .........?

Thanks in advance

Hi:

If you don't need a lot of drive space, now would be a good time to upgrade to a much better performing, normally more reliable 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).  No moving parts.

Here is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
