Hello,
I‘m going to add a SSD to my laptop HP Pavilion dv7t-6c00 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook (Product Number A1L69AV) and make the current 750 GB HDD as a second hard drive.
Maintenance and Service Guide states: "Supports 500 GB hard drive + 160 GB solid-state drive combination"
Can I install a 500 GB SSD as primary drive and make my current 750 GB hard drive a secondary drive and what connector cable should I use for the secondary drive?
Thanks in advance.

From a vendor website
"This Machine Supports Single and Dual Drive Configurations. (Two 2.5" Solid State Drives or Hard Drives) Note: If replacing the 2.5" Hard Drive for a 2.5" Solid State Drive, remove the hard drive bracket and connector from the hard drive and install it on the solid state drive. If installing the second 2.5" Drive, you will need the 2.5" Drive hardware kit p/n 480457-001 (Includes: Second 2.5" Drive bracket and screws) for installation."

Yes, you can do that. See the highlighted hardware kit above that you will need.

Hello,
Can you tell me if the following cable (Model Numbers: B3035050g00004) will work for the 2nd hard drive in my dv7t-C600?
Thank you.
