Hi:
According to chapter 1 of the service manual, your notebook is only supposed to support 2 x 1 GB of memory.
So, if you have 3 GB installed, I doubt that you can install any more.
SSD...on an old notebook like that, it is hit or miss as to whether or not a 2.5" SATA SSD will work.
All I can write is that the Crucial report for the C700 series indicates that their SSD's are compatible.

There is no way a 4 TB SSD would work in your notebook, so I disagree with that.
