Dear community,
I have a hp pavilion-DV6 - 6080 notebook pc.
product number: A7N34EA#ABB
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB
HDD: Model TOSHIBA MK7559GSXP ATA Device
is it possible for me to upgrade my Laptop with SSD? Is there any Risk due to the old version of the processor or other staff?
if I can so would you please name a model and the capacity compatible with my device

You're very welcome.
The drive I posted will fit in place of the one you have in there now.
It will be a little thinner (7.0mm), but it still fits in the same caddy, and lines up to the SATA connectors.
It would be best if you connect the drive in place of the current one for best performance.
The optical drive port can have a sata speed as low as 1.5 GB/S, and it won't have more than 3.0 GBPS.

You should be able to replace the hard drive with any quality 2.5" SSD you want.
I use this model (500 GB) and it works great on my HP business desktop PC's and notebooks--some are old models from 2011 too.

The only thing is...you will need a way to reinstall the operating system.

Great, thanks for the accurate solution
so I have no problem with the size and dimension, I think the SSD might not fit the HDD place
is there any difference to place the SSD in my Optical drive or replace it by old HDD?
I think it would be faster if replacing by the HDD right?
