The HDMI port seems to have a loose connection. I can plug in the HDMI cable and the monitor attached works great, but if I touch the connector, the signal is lost - until I remove the cable from the port on the laptop and reconnect. Most often, the monitor turns on again - until I move the laptop or touch the HDMI-cable. Then the connection is lost again. Can the HDMI port be removed and a new fitted? I have tried a number of different HDMI cables and it's the same issue on all of them...

Hello @MartinBorn

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ...

The HDMI port can be desoldered and replaced.

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [ Recommended ] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- [ Recommended ] The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Unsolder and replace HDMI connector

- General cleaning ...

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
