HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0033na

In the last couple of days I've lost the audio ability for listening and transferring to MSFS, Sky App, U-Tube and every other available medium through an HDMI cable that I transfer from my 17inch gaming machine onto my 32 inch television. Is there something that I have inadvertently adjusted in the audio side of things on my laptop that may have caused this to happen?  Visual transfer for all of these in not affected. The sound on both my laptop and television have full audio ability when played through on their own without the HDMI cable connected.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
