my pavilion x2 does not recognise that i have connected it to a tv via a cable. I have no options on the screen resolution drop down menu. i purchased the cable three days ago. i have tried it with two tvs. The computer is new too.

HDMI port used to work, from my HP ENVY, but now it will Not provide Audio output??  I even used another HDMI cable, and changed-ports, on TV, with same result??

Not sure what the question is: 'Where is the HDMI port'??  it is on lift side on my HP ENVY..
