Hi

 

I am planning to upgrade my laptop to 256GB SSD and use the HDD in caddy and caddy has two size 12.7mm and 9.5mm but I don't have any idea about my DVD ROM thickness. So, it will be great if you guys can help me and is there anything else that I should keep in mind before doing this upgrade?

As mentioned on page 2 of the manual, it has

   Fixed optical drives Supports the following 9.5-mm SATA optical drive

 

Page 69 of the manual shows you how to replace the Optical drive
