HP ProBook 450 G7 Notebook PC

My HDD is working on 100% and I'm looking for ways I can fix this issue, if I cannot fix it can I upgrade my HHD to an SSD, I'm using a  TOSHIBA mq04abf100 HDD and my pc is HP ProBook 450 G7 Notebook pc with intel Core i5 10th Gen

There are dozens of different models/products of the HP ProBook 450 G7 series therefore I don't know the specs of your machine BUT I think it has a small amount of RAM and a slow HDD.

 

Small amount of RAM would cause swapping/paging a lot that makes HDD has to spin to dead. Therefore you can do

 

1. Upgrade your machine with more RAM

2. Replace slow HDD to a faster HDD or SSD

 

You can do #1 first and #2 later or BOTH at the same time.

 

If you wish more info, please post back 2 items : (a) Its CPU (b) Its current RAM
