Hi@slimpickings411,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Intel Optane issues with the HP Notebook.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
Determine if Optane memory is installed and working normally:
- Start or restart the computer.
- Press F10 repeatedly during start up to enter the BIOS setup utility.
Look for the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology option.
For American Megatrends BIOS, select System Configuration > Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology.
For InsydeH2O BIOS, select System Configuration > UEFI Device Configuration > Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology.
If Intel Optane is not listed, the computer does not have Optane memory or Optane is malfunctioning and can not be detected.
To Re-enable Optane Memory:
Click Start and select Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology.
Click Intel (R) Optane(TM) Memory.
- Click Enable.
- Click Yes in the Enable Intel(R) Optane(TM) memory window.
Click Reboot.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
