Like many others, I have an 11-N034TU that says "Plugged in, Not Charging"
Observations:
On plugging in AC Adaptor, charge light goes orange for about 2 or 3 seconds, then goes steady white. After approx 30 seconds, charge light begins blinking white
Steps Taken:
Removed ACPI adaptor from Device Manager, shut down, unplugged AC adaptor and held power switch for 30 seconds to fully discharge system capacitors (cannot remove battery as battery is a fixed internal battery)
Updated everything - Including BIOS (Running F.2C Rev A)
Performed UEFI checks on Battery, Output as follows:-
Charge Capacity: 91% Battery Status: OK(4)
Warranty Type: 3 Year FAILURE ID: OK
Cycle Count: 170 Terminal Voltage: 5797 mV
Manufacturer: 33-42 Design Voltage: 7600 mV
Battery Age: 926 Days Cell Voltage 1: 2500 mV
Serial Number: 0**** 08/25/2014 Cell Voltage 2: 3297 mV
Temperature: 29 C Cell Voltage 3: 0 mV
Design Capacity: 3820 mAh Cell Voltage 4: 0 mV
Full Charge Capacity: 3481 mAh Status: 4AD0
Remaining Capacity: 0 mAh (0%) AC Power: Yes
Current: 0 mAh CT Number: 6EAWL*******9K
I do not pretend to know about battery construction, but the Cell Voltage 3 & 4 being 0 and the remaining capacity and current being 0 along with the blinking charge light tends to make me think that despite the battery reporting as "OK" this particular battery is dead..... am I correct in that assumption?
Further to this, the initial screen says that following the battery check, I can perform a battery calibration; but after the battery check, there is no option anywhere on screen to perform a calibration.
Oh - and lest I forget - if AC adaptor is removed, machine shuts down immediately, so cannot perform any checks or tests with AC adaptor removed
Any words of wisdom please?

The issue I face is that using both UEFI test and using Spport Assistant, neither give me the option to calibrate battery.
both report the battery as OK and do not report as needing calibration, therefore I cannot calibrate battery.
I cannot unplug AC and run power down, as unplugging AC immediately switches device off. The machine seems to report battery as being OK but is unable to draw power from it or charge it.
i have done a UEFI test of System board as well and truly that reports as no errors.
this issue is vexing .... Is it indeed a family led battery or is it that the machine for some reason simply cannot access the battery?
again, despite reporting as "OK" I do ask if Cell Voltage 3 and 4 reporting 0 mV is an indication of something wrong?
once again, I have followed instructions regarding calibration to the letter, but do not get option to calibrate battery.
further, I note in UEFI test I do not have option to test AC Adaptor .....
