HP 14-DK1035WM 14" RYZEN 3 3250U

i just got this HP 14-DK1035WM 14" RYZEN 3 3250U  pc and for one being it has a cpu clock speed of 2.6ghz it is a very slow pc.  it is much slower than the hp probook 6470b i have and the new alldocube i just got a month ago. the alldocube is fast even on wifi much faster than the 6470b is by far, however this new HP 14-DK1035WM 14" RYZEN 3 3250U 2.6ghz   is way slower even when plugged into the network.

also the specs say the usb-c port is a super port   see specs.  i plugged in one of these adapters and it will not run a monitor or see a thumb stick  see link  or photo     https://www.ebay.com/itm/134644054088

this is the adapter now maybe this is not up to the task but if not then what adapter/s might i be looking at. i got this pc to be ready for win11 when i decide to install it and to be at least as fast as my 6470b pc.  it did have win11 on it but i could smoke a cigarette faster than it would even bootup.  and trying to run anything was terrible. and with a clock of 2.6ghz i figure it would be fast. now having 2 cores may be the issue if so what CPU can i install that will bump the system the a faster use, if the processor can be changed out for a better CPU?  when i ran bench test online with that app this pc had a very fast test  the intel core i7-8665u @ 1.90 ghz had a 0.0 test so can that CPU run in this pc?  if so i can ebay one

Unfortunately, the processor in your laptop is not a viable upgrade item as it is integrated into (soldered on) the chipset on the system board.

ok that answers that then. maybe adding more ram may help it has 4gb i can go to 16gb. also it has a 1tb ssd m.2 drive they normally come with 128 or 512 so i wonder if this drive may not be a very fast ssd drive. i have not taken the back off it to see but if someone needs to know the parts numbers i can do that and get the numbers.  i have had issues like that before with hard drives and with the ssd that are sata ssd drives that would slow the pc down. so it might be that. but i will not know myself but maybe some here can tell me? thanks

Bumping the installed memory to 8GB would help some, but only in memory intensive applications.

16GB would be overkill, not really much more useful than 8GB.

The OEM installed SSD is probably running at optimum speed (bandwidth) for the Ryzen chipset already.

The only likely gain  that you would get from an SSD upgrade get is added storage space.

thanks.     i do see it does come with a 1tb drive i missed taht earlier.   but i did do some tweaks i change some items in the power modes and in the visual effects and that seemed to help. one thing that may also be the issue is this pc runs win10 home my other pcs run win10 pro. i tried to get the pro but it took me to the store and 99$ lated i can get it. the win10 iso stick i used to install the OS should have put win10 pro on it. i have installed the pro version on every other pc i used it on. anyway it seems to be working a bit faster.  maybe because it is a ryzen cpu that is why it is slower or window seen the home version and by defaul set the speed per the OS.

You can get the part number and brand of the SSD from the device manager. Windows key + X key then click on device manager. Check out the disk drives section.

thanks i turns out to be an oem drive so it being so slow is built into the pc. i will look for another one and the reset this one and ebay it. it is slower than the allinone i got last summer and gave away. no more 2 core pcs. i was surprised at how slow this is and also no more ryzen cpu's. i will stick to the intell .  my old 6470b is 10x faster than this newwer pc with the ryzen3 the HP Laptop 14-dk1035wm  with the amd ryzen 3 3250u  2.6ghz   microrprocessor boosts up to 3.5ghz.   i was shooked that this one is so slow. thanksmfor that tip.
