I accidentally spilled nail polish on my laptop. Bein in  the computer support field for MANY  years  YES I committed a cardinal sin!!! So I haved naby sticky/non functional keys.  I am currently disabled and can no longer work  I purchased a new keyboard for this moodel laptop any you tubde videos Ihave pulled up on this laptop shows a completely differentbottom side mine,  FTirst my laptop is red no screws visible on the bottom or battery.There are 2 horizontal sticky strips with screws underneath. I did remove the screws and with not having any further documentation I didnt go any further with this. Can anyone insruct me how to get in so I can replce this keyboard please.  Thanks!!!!

When you do not identify your desktop or laptop PC, you tie our hands behind our backs. Help us to help you.

Use a USB keyboard as a workaround to boot to Windows for this.

When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue

Type in msinfo32 and press enter.


The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.

The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.
