Hello,
I want to upgrade RAM and M2.SSD for my laptop HP x360 14-ba075TX. It came pre-loaded with 4 GB Ram.
Please share your feedback for the following queries:
1. Does laptop have an additional slot where I can add 8 gb more to make it 12 gb.
2. Suggest 8 gb RAM and where to buy it online.
3. Is it possible to upgrade to M2.SSD to improve laptop speed, suggest model number and buying option.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Regards,
Manish

You're welcome Manish.
I believe your PC came with 2400Mhz RAM and is running at 2133Mhz.
In any case, yes, the RAM from Crucial you linked will work and you can install a 8GB stick for a total of 12GB.
You can go with the HP or WD M2 SSD as it will not make much difference. Both will give a performance boost to the PC. I would get at least a 240GB SSD for OS and applications.

David

Hi Manish,
Your notebook supports max 32 Gb of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB, There are two slots, so you can add another 8GB in the empty slot. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...
On page 58 of service manual you can see the steps to install RAM:

Example of RAM

At the moment you have a 1TB SSHD. There should be a slot for M2 SSD, so you can keep both drives. It is compatible with M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar.
Hope it helps,
David

Hi David,
Thank you for the detailed response.
I would like to get further insights from you on both RAM & SSD.
The laptop came with a pre-installed 4 GB DDR4 2133 Mhz RAM if I add another 8 Gb RAM of 2400 Mhz will it be compatible and work with existing 4 GB RAM of 2133 Mhz to provide an overall performance of 12 GB RAM.
Product Specification for reference: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05562663
I am considering purchasing this 8 GB RAM from Crucial: https://www.amazon.in/Crucial-8GB-DDR4-2400-SODIMM-CT8G4SFS824A/dp/B01BIWKP58/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid....
Please let me know if it is compatible with my device.
For M2 SATA 3 SSD, I am considering two options of Western Digital 240 GB or HP SSD S700. Link as follows. Please suggest which one would be better & suitable.

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Manish
