HP 14-ca061dx chromebook screen issues, then died completely

Hello,

two days ago the screen started randomly flickering on and off. Today, the chromebook is just completely dead. We bought it in November 2018 so it is absolutely frustrating that only 6 months after teh warranty is over, we have a brick. I tried the power reset (hold power buutton down for 15 sec with no accessories or power plug) and that did not revive the machine. Is there any other way to revive or am I out of luck, and never buying HP again?

I understand that the laptop will not turn on.

As you have stated that you have already performed the power reset. Still not working.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
