Hello and Good day! i recently bought a hp 14-cm0080au laptop with a ryzen 5 2500u proc with 4gb ddr4 2400 ram.

i just wanna know if this laptop is dual channel and RAM upgrade is possible with another slot. Thanks!

Hello @Xammy,

 

Your memory limit would be 16GB of DDR4-2400. Dual channel will work when RAM is a matched pair. (Speed, size, brand)

 

Steps to the replacement of the RAM are located on pages 34-35 of your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide.

 

Any RAM from a reliable brand (Hynix, Crucial, Samsung) should work.
