Hi i have the same laptop as the person above 14" 14-bw022na and i have used it probably about half a dozen times for google docs. I have started mine up and it wont come off the screen saver to even log on. I purchased it in February from tesco also. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.
I understand that you are in need of support, need not
-
In Windows, search for and open the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows app.
-
On the main menu, click System Tests.
-
Click the System Extensive Test tab.
-
Click Run once.
While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component are shown on the screen. The test can take 2 or more hours to complete.
Then, use the following steps to open the Component Tests menu.
-
Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
-
Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
-
On the main menu, click Component Tests.
Figure : Selecting Component Tests from the main menu
-
The Component Tests menu displays.
Your Component Tests menu might be different, depending on the components installed on your computer.
Figure : Sample list of Component Tests
If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) so you have it available when you contact HP Customer Support.
Keep me posted, how it goes! However, I'll try and follow up in next 24 to 48 hours to doublecheck on the issue.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
Cheers:)
