My HP stream is low in memory. Trying to create a recovery drive, but won't let me since compete has low memory.  What are my options to create another startup drive.

Thank you.

What I suggest you do is to back up any files you don't want to lose onto a portable drive.

Then use the Microsoft media creation tool on another PC to create a bootable USB installation flash drive to reinstall Windows.

Download Windows 10

After the USB installation drive has been created, plug it into your notebook's USB port.

Turn it on or restart it.

Immediately tap...tap...tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the W10 installation flash drive and press the Enter key.

The PC should boot from the flash drive and begin to load the W10 installation files.

When you get to the screen that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.

Click Next, and W10 should install.

That will give you the maximum usable storage space after the installation has been completed.
