HP 14 inch Laptop PC 14-f1000 (2L1B0AV)

I would like to know the maximum amount and type of memory this laptop can be upgraded to, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. (My guess is SO-DIMM DDR4 2x16GB 3200MHz?) I want to make sure it's 100% correct before I order my parts.
Many thanks.

Your notebook comes configured with 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory.

It should support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, but the service manual indicates 2 x 8 GB is the max.

You can run this command to see if your notebook will support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
