Pavilion CS0099TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys!

I'm new to all of this but trying to give it a try.

I currently have a Pavilion CS0099TX which I love. I've recently acquired a 2tb Seagate FireCuda which I want to install. I thought this would be very straight forward after watching a YouTube tutorial. It was easy, until I pulled the back of my laptop off and realised that this model of Pavilion CS doesn't have a drive that I can "Replace" as it came with a M.2 SSD.

This works well, as I won't need to replace the M.2 and I can now have two drives at once.

My issue is that I now need the SATA3 Ribbon Cable and Cradle (Sorry if this is the incorrect term) for my new SSD (inc. screws etc.) and I can't find the part numbers anywhere. An older CS model that has a 2.5 inch drive installed should have the part numbers I need.

Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I think this might be the code for the SATA3 Cable but I really am not sure - L20103-001

P.P.S. I apologise if anything I have said doesn't make sense, as I'm new to this and still learning.

Hi ECHO_LAKE,

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately I don't really want to pay $99.95 US just to be told a part number.

Kind Regards,

ScottyOOOO
