Hello everyone,

Where can I find the CMOS battery for this laptop?

I can't find it on the motherboard.

There is not an RTC/CMOS battery. Many laptops with an internal non-removeable battery use it as the main power and backup clock power, too. Its one of the reasons you will lose some charge even with the laptop turned off if it sits for a few days.

Thanks Huffer, is there any specific reason I keep getting the Cmos 502 error after replacing the batter even after I fix the time and date in my computer?

Thats checksum which may mean you have a bigger problem of corrupted BIOS. Are you upgraded to the latest BIOS level?
