Product: HP 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My battery has grown weak after 2 years and can no longer go unplugged for more than 30 minutes. I went searching for a replacement battery for my notebook on the HP parts store and could not find it. All that shows up is the RTC battery. Does this mean the battery my laptop uses is no longer available? If not, is there anywhere else I can find a replacement?

Hi:

 

According to the parts list at the link below, the battery part number is:  776622-001 - 3 CELL BATTERY 31WHr 2.8AH L

You are correct...it doesn't appear that the HP part store sells that battery.  The site claims it doesn't even exist.

 

So, the only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search by that part number and buy an equivalent battery with that part number on Amazon or eBay.

What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?

 

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

 

Please do not post the serial number.
