Alright so this has been going on for a long time, my fan is making this really awful noise, i tried everything from de assembling the laptop and cleaning out the fan, which i wont do again since i broke it while opening it the first, because i didn't know how to proparly open it, even tho i know how to do so now, i can't risk it at all, regardless, i tried that but it didn't work, this problem continues to exist, the laptop is quite old, its like 4 or 5 years old, no less for sure, but this started one for no reason, the fan itself doesn't not overheat and my laptop stays at fine tempratures but it's so annyoing and it also vibrates, which is very uncomfortable, please can someone help me out, here is exactly how it sounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-qFQJczirc

Hi,

You need to replace the fan, it is the only fix. If you provide the complete model or product number of your PC we can help you find the parts and give you a detailed description of how to do this. A new fan is usually not so expensive. Here is link to HP support page showing how to find this.

Otherwise, you can take to your local trusted repair shop and have them replace it.

Hope it helps,

David

Ok. The part number for the fan is 753894-001

If you perform online search with the part number you can find compatible ones and original ones quite easily.

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/Rangale-Replacement-DFS470805CL0T-753894-001-Compatible/dp/B01N1WM02I/ref=sr_...

or you can try HP parts store in your country:

https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Search_Results.aspx?mscssid=B1A71FB1BA8E470B8BAF13EFA9ABF2C8&SearchIn=P...

On page 63 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the fan:

Let me know if you need further help,

David
