HP 15-bs003ni battery replacement

Hi everyone...please advice me on what battery to get for my laptop or even just what to search for in order for me to buy the right replacement battery. I just dont want to buy the wrong one. I dont know what its name is but thats why i sent the model nr. Im hoping it helps...

Here is your Service Manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf It calls for HP parts below , Use that to search HP PartSurfer, google it for resellers, try Amazon or eBay are other options.

Battery
4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850
3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919700-850, 919700-851

Try and get a HP part, the age of the laptop may leave you with no other option than a generic replacement battery, but they are less in price. Read reviews of the product if you want to go generic. There are some good ones, and some not so good ones.

The service manual shows how to replace the battery if you are up to the task. You also want to purchase an inexpensive cell phone repair kit to use to separate the bottom cover from the top. Using a small screwdriver or pocket knife risks marring the two.

No worries. The batteries I quoted from the service manual, the 4 cell would last longer than the 3 cell ones listed. So-

To search for the 4 cell battery, use "919701-850". Thats the part number to search with.

To search for the 3 cell battery, use "919700-850" or "919700-851". Thats the part numbers to search with.

I don't know where you are located, I would search for you.
