Hi Guys,
Have this laptop and my sister needs an SSD upgrade. Saw it came with a slow normal HDD. Opened t up and I believe this is an M.2 Slot below. HP labeled it as "JSSD". Can anyone confirm for me this is an SSD slot and if I order a SATA m.2 SSD will it work ? Pics attached to Imgur. Thanks

HI.
Your computer supports m.2 SATA SSD that was the first generation of M2, and not an M.2 NVMe that were the next generation.

Thanks, a lot. I was looking all over for this info. Weird this is not listed under the items hp page in terms of the manual. I had a very hard time getting it open to find out the screws were underneath the legs.
Anyway, would this SSD work?
