HP HP 15-bs060wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 15-bs060wm that currently has the factory 8GB of ram (running windows 64)  Is there any way I can upgrade my ram to 32 GB?  The factory specs say max 16GB but I saw a few other posts regarding other HP laptops where you were able to go over the maximum amount.  I also ran a system info utility and it said "32GB maximum RAM"  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

@MichaelCLesko , welcome to the forum.

HP has their motherboards made to their specifications and use them in many different configurations.  In your laptop the maximum is 16 GB.  Unfortunately, HP doesn't have this information in their specifications.  Here is the recommendation for Crucial Memory: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-bs060wm

As you will see, this is what they have as the maximum.  I suggest that you use CPU-Z to find the manufacturer and timings of the current memory: https://download.cnet.com/CPU-Z/3000-2086_4-10050423.html

It is best if you try to match the current memory.  If not, you may have to replace it.  You can contact Crucial's Tech Support to see if their memory will be compatible with it.
