Hi:

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe. PCIe is also another name for NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

HP 15 Laptop PC (Intel)HP 15g Laptop PCHP 15q Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

So, you would need a M.2 SSD like this one...

Amazon.com: Western Digital 500GB WD Blue SA510 SATA Internal Solid State Drive SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/...

Thanks for your response sir, but i want to make sure if the m.2 ssd type your said is the compatible one?  please kindly check the image  with an red arrow again attached on my question because that is my actual Laptop board

thanks,..

You're very welcome.

Yes, that slot is the M.2 slot and while it only has one key, a NVMe SSD which also has only one key will definitely not work.

Only the SATA SSD's with two notches will work.

One of those will fit in the slot just fine.

The second notch simply does not use those contacts on the other side of the M.2 slot.

Ok sir ..thanks so the second notch for ssd sata is no issue to my laptop m.2 slot with only 1 notch?...

That is correct.
