HP 15 bs244wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product Description: HP Notebook - 15-bs244wm

Product Number: 3TT17UA

Ram/memory upgrade possible? What size, slots? Will it void HP Warranty? If so, Can I have a professional shop do it if so? Couldn't find any info, help please, 4gb is just enough to browse fb and not much else without bogging down since so much runs in Win 10 by default. I didn't buy, it was a gift, hate to trash it.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257

Since your notebook has the Intel® Pentium® Silver N5000 processor, you are already at the max memory of 4 GB.

See chapter 1, very top of page 3....

Supports up to 4 GB (4096×1) of DDR4-2400 single channel support (Intel Pentium Silver N5000, Celeron N4000 processors).
